Lauren Falk

Lauren joined the Health Through Wholeness team in May 2025 as Director of Growth & Strategic Development. She oversees fundraising and grants for AdaptiSport to secure future sustainability and manages general operations for Health Through Wholeness, to include staff supervision and budgetary oversight. Lauren also holds a parallel position as Director of Growth & Strategic Development for Integrate 3P (also a Tim Terrio creation). Prior to this venture, Lauren spent 3 years with local cancer services nonprofit Links for Life, first as Development Manager and then as Grants Manager; 1 year as Development Director at CSUB’s Office of University Advancement; and 3 years as Manager of Foundation & Institutional Advancement for Cerro Coso College. 

Lauren is originally from Baltimore, Maryland.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Honors Program Distinction from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA, and a Master of Science in Public Policy with a concentration in U.S. Foreign and Defense Policy from American University in Washington, DC.  She moved to DC in early 2010 and worked as a research analyst for a defense lobbying firm while completing her masters degree. Lauren began her post-graduate professional career in 2011 at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Armed Services, helping to shape U.S. national security and defense policies in tandem with the annual National Defense Authorization bill, which authorizes all funding for the country’s military.  She then served as Congressional Advisor for the Ministry of Defence for the United Kingdom at the British Embassy in Washington DC, followed by a stint at the Center for Strategic and International Studies as lead Congressional & Government Relations Advisor.  Lauren met her husband Aaron while living in DC and moved to his hometown of Bakersfield in September 2017. 

Tena Dobbs

Tena Dobbs is an experienced Executive Assistant with a diverse background in data governance, product information management, and accounting. She currently supports Tim Terrio, leveraging her extensive career in administrative leadership and data management to streamline operations and enhance efficiencies.

Originally from Mission Viejo, California, Tena relocated to Bakersfield in 2008 to become a stay-at-home mother. Since then, she has built a robust professional career, including a role at WM. Bolthouse Farms Inc. as the ERP Master Data Management Lead. In that position, she oversaw data entry, inventory, customer service, and compliance, contributing to significant process improvements and fraud risk mitigation that saved the company millions.

Tena has led high-volume teams, implemented automation processes, and managed complex data systems, including ERP and EDI operations. She is proficient in a wide range of software systems and is currently pursuing her Business CPA License at Bakersfield Community College.

Outside of her professional life, Tena is a proud Blue Star mom and actively volunteers at events supporting veterans and active-duty military. She enjoys crafting, woodworking, and dedicating her free time to helping others in need.
